Today our engineers are extremely busy with a full day of boiler services and plumbing tasks.
Our first job for the day is out at Amport. We were asked to investigate a problem with a kitchen mixer tap and two radiators. The kitchen tap just needed tightening as it was just a slight bit loose. Better to sort this minor task out in the early stages before it became a catastrophe!
One radiator would not turn on and the other radiator would not turn off!
Our engineer eased the Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) pin on the radiator that would not turn off. This problem is now fixed and the radiator is now fully functioning. Not got any TRVs fitted to your radiators at home? Click on this link to see what a TRV is, and how they can cut your heating bills.
The engineer opened up the lock shield valve on the other radiator that would not turn on. Again this radiator is now fully functioning correctly. Simple tasks that took very little time. Here at SHAPE Contractor we have a ‘no job too small’ ethos.
All of our engineers are fully trained with full plumbing City & Guilds qualifications. Gas Safe registered to work on Gas appliances. OFTEC registered where we work on oil-fired boilers for your peace of mind.
